Read the requirements before you write

Language

Abstracts may be submitted in Arabic or English.

Eligibility

Open to interested researchers, provided the corresponding author is affiliated with an academic, research or professional institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Word count

The abstract must run between 300 and 500 words.

Originality

The work must be original, and neither published nor under consideration elsewhere.

Similarity check

Similarity must not exceed 15%.

Full paper

After initial acceptance the full paper is submitted at 4,000 to 8,000 words, in the conference template.

Corresponding author

One corresponding author is named and is responsible for every step of submission and correspondence.

    The official launch of the call for structured scientific abstracts.

    Abstract deadline

    Last day to send a one-page abstract.

  3. ACCEPTANCE
    20 September 2026
    Initial acceptance

    Authors are told whether the abstract is accepted or declined.

  4. FULL PAPER
    10 October 2026
    Full paper due

    Authors of accepted abstracts submit the complete paper.

  5. FINAL REVIEW
    25 October 2026
    Final decision

    The scientific committee issues its decisions: accept, revise or decline.

  6. FINAL
    30 October 2026
    Final version

    The approved final version is uploaded in the conference template.

  7. CONFERENCE
    8 – 11 November 2026
    Presentation at the conference

    Accepted papers are presented in the live scientific sessions or as scientific posters.

THE REVIEW JOURNEYFROM ABSTRACT TO PRESENTATION

Three phases, five criteria, one decision

PHASE ONE
Submit the abstract

A one-page abstract of 300 to 500 words is submitted, then goes to initial review.

PHASE TWO
Initial acceptance

The abstract is accepted or declined, and authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit the full paper.

PHASE THREE
Full scientific review

The paper is judged on quality, originality, impact, fit with the tracks and fit with the scientific programme.

The rules, before you submit, after acceptance and on the day

Submission policies
  1. The abstract must be no more than 500 words and no fewer than 300.
  2. The researcher chooses the appropriate track before submitting.
  3. After initial acceptance of the abstract, the researcher uses the conference template to prepare the full paper.
  4. The full paper must be no more than 10 pages and no fewer than 6, in the approved conference template.
  5. The work must be original, and neither published nor submitted for publication anywhere else.
  6. The researcher runs a similarity check and makes sure similarity does not exceed 15%.
  7. The author confirms that all information provided is accurate and takes full responsibility for the scientific content.
  8. The researcher names a corresponding author, who is responsible for all submission steps and correspondence with the scientific committee.
  9. Acceptance of the abstract does not mean acceptance of the paper: the full paper goes through independent review before the final decision.
  10. The scientific committee reserves the right to accept or decline papers, and its decision is final.

Do I submit a paper or a poster?

You submit one scientific abstract; after the full paper is reviewed, the committee decides whether the work is presented orally or as a scientific poster.

How many words should the abstract be?

The abstract must be no fewer than 300 words and no more than 500.

Does accepting the abstract mean the paper is accepted?

No. Accepting the abstract qualifies the researcher to submit the full paper, which goes through independent scientific review.

Can I submit in Arabic?

Yes. The abstract and the presentation may be in Arabic or English.
